Meet the Coaches

Coach Travis Dolcine
Discovering the sport freshman year of High School and staying consistent to the collegiate level and post collegiate running. The sport has provided me the opportunity to learn hands on and work on my craft as a runner. Many of those lessons still to this day apply to my life. In my later years of running, I realized the passion I have for the sport overlaps with the passion for growing and learning as an individual.
The idea of going out there - striving to be better than you were previously is what the sport is all about. There is a great deal of hard work that is required to be great at the sport but most importantly there has to be enjoyment with running.
Understanding that each runner is different, training plans are not a one size fits all. What may have work for another runner might not work for you. Taking the time to figure out strengths and weakness in a runner is a huge part of my coaching philosophy. With coaches and a community that cares, I have no doubt in my mind that your goals can come to life when you join us FLYERS!
"Believe in yourself now, the results will come later" - Coach Dolcine

Coach Jason Karakaedos
Running has been a major part of my life since middle school. Racing competitively from then all the way through college has provided me with endless opportunities, knowledge, and connections. The passion I have for the sport has remained over this decade-long journey. Getting the chance to spread this passion to other members of the community has inspired me to continue to grow as a runner and an individual.
At its core, running is a mindset. Setting your sights on a goal and committing yourself to the process will help you develop overtime. Throughout this time, you will meet others in all different stages of the process. Everyone working towards their own goals, but sharing the same mindset. That is what makes running different from other sports. Its ability to create a community based on this shared mindset. The feeling that this community creates is priceless and gives everyone involved a sense of belonging, that they are all working towards something bigger.
By joining our family, the Flyers, you've already started the process. Staying committed and working towards your own personal goals will help you grow in all aspects of life. Pushing past your limits and achieving those goals will only drive you to continue growing. By adopting this mindset through your daily life, you will learn to appreciate the beauty that comes along with this sport.
"Even at your lowest points, you can find a light to inspire yourself and others" - Coach Karakaedos

Fit For Fall 2022
George Papoulis
George Papoulis – born and raised in Greece, has taken his passion and motivation from being a competitive student athlete to the next level post college. As we watched George go from: a colleague to a teammate to a roommate to a great friend of ours, we decided that it’d be cool to give him the shoutout he deserves! His journey consisted of working within his major post college while still keeping his passion of working out on his own time. He started sharing his workouts and progress via a platform he created @train_like_papoulis on IG which gave him a preview of the personal trainer lifestyle. With his consistency and work ethic; it’s no surprise to see him flourishing as a full time certified personal trainer at @drivecustomfit while also coaching youth soccer programs. George’s journey has been amazing to watch from an outside perspective and his passion for what he does will continue to impact those he comes in contact with. We love to see the positive impact he has made in his community in such a short time. Looking forward to seeing what else he will do and be sure to check him out!
Giving Season 2022-2023
Robert Howard, Jr.
Mr. Howard haha where do I begin… I’ve known you for a short time but in that time I see the figure you’ve become in many people’s eyes. “Dogs do, cats try… that’s why they get 9 lives” comes to mind and that alone can describe you. Mr. Howard has been a teacher in multiple communities for 26 years now and this is his first year as an assistant principal. He shows up for himself everyday to make sure he creates great moments with his students and lessons outside the classroom. Mr. Howard has done many good deeds, one including giving out free pups in his neighborhood on a christmas day due to his pit having 8 babies. His dog “Jake” who hangs out around his dad’s auto body (Dealers Choice) shop in North Easton is well known for just being a calm loving dog that’s always at his post near the shop. Many great stories but the one we want to highlight mainly and most current is the focus on food waste that happens in schools. Mr. Howard has made it a focus to have individuals become aware of how much food is wasted when other students would gladly accept extra. In the beginning of the school year he made it a point to go around collecting and redistributing closed packaged food amongst the students. Inspiring work as it truly is the little things.
Spring Into Action 2023
Travis Dolcine
Hello! Travis Dolcine here and I would like to talk a little bit about my personal journey in relation to our Spring Into Action season. On February 5th which happened to be my 25th birthday I released a published poetry collection called, A Painter’s Eye: The Essence of Now. Giving myself the time and dedication to see a thought to the end, it still feels surreal when the realization comes to mind. The faith I embody is the driving force behind these ideas coming to life. I want to encourage everyone to strive for the unthinkable, for you may surprise yourself. That being the connecting point as our new season theme being faith/belief. Spring Into Action will aim to highlight support factors in regards to mental health, encourage confidence in regards to faith and more.
